Patricia Cumbie, editor of Mix, the Twin Cities Natural Food Co-ops’ bimonthly publication, had a moving op-ed essay in the Star Tribune about the recent triple homicide in the Seward neighborhood.
As a resident living only a block from the Seward Market and Halal Grocery where the shooting took place, Cumbie shares the feelings of the neighborhood (which is Triangle Park’s neighborhood, too). And the response given on the placards at the vigil held the next night: “Seward Stands Together. No More Violence.”
