Communities like Corcoran, Jordan and Minnetrista have gotten grants from CGO, via the McKnight Foundation, to help plan before the edges of the urban core overruns them.

Certainly, cities were feeling out of control [during the boom earlier in the decade]; things were going kind of fast and loose.”
