Pat Thompson's MCN Web Workshop
About a hundred people from Minnesota nonprofit groups gathered on Thursday, December 4, 2008 to hear Triangle Park’s Pat Thompson present her take on website usability.
Pat shared information derived from web usability experts Jakob Nielsen and Steve Krug, giving tips on both improving an existing site and how to get started on rebuilding from scratch.
Audience members were highly involved, with questions ranging from writing for the web to integrating calendars into a site to debating the various open source content management system options.
The presentation was part of the Nonprofit Communicator Workshop series titled Rebalancing the Mix.
