Kids Count is a national project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation that tracks the status of children in the U.S.
The 52-page report gives policymakers and citizens benchmarks of child well-being, such as health care, early childhood education, and economic security. Data is summarized on a range of topics as well as broken down on a county-by-county basis.
