The Arts Midwest World Fest site promotes international musical groups that tour Midwestern schools and cities.
Arts Midwest staff wanted the site to give users an array of music and video files from each band, as well as a blog to tell Road Stories, as the musicians from all parts of the world encounter Midwestern places and people.
The site also needed a map-based interface to show where the bands appeared across the Midwest over time, and where they are from, including links to curricular materials geared to teachers in the schools across the region.
