A project of the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers, OwnAHomeMN provides one centralized real estate listing service for all of the community development groups that are part of MCCD.
Users can search the listings by a range of options (number of bedrooms, price, city, and more), and can save the ones they’re interested in for later reference. They can get automatic updates by email if more listings with the same options are added to the site, or if the price of one of their flagged homes has a price change or goes off the market.
The site also includes a database of the many home-buyer-assistance programs (grants and loans), and lists any ones that are available for a listing.
Users can also find information for potential home buyers so they can make better decisions as they look for a house and current homeowners trying to prevent foreclosure.
